　　3. such… that 如此…….

　　e.g. He was such an honest boy that every body liked him.

　　他是如此誠實的一個孩子，以致人人都喜歡他。

　　4. as such 確切而言，嚴格說來。

　　5. and such 等等，……之類。

　　7，suddenly  adv.突然地；意外地

　　8，soon   adv.  立刻；馬上

　　短語：1.sooner or later 遲早遲晚

　　2.as soon as  一...........就, 不遲于

　　3.no sooner than 一.......就

　　eg: He had no sooner arrived than he was asked to leave again. 他剛到就被支走

　　9，sure   adj.  &  adv.  確倍的

　　短語：1..be sure to do sth 一定要做....

　　2..be sure about/of sth

　　be sure that 對.....  很確信

　　3.for sure 無疑

　　e.g. I think he lives there but I couldn't say for sure.

　　我想他是住在那里的，但我不敢確定。

　　4.Make sure of sth/that 把某事物弄清楚

　　10，seldom   adv.  很少；不常；

　　e.g.She seldom reads newspapers. 她很少讀報紙。

　　11，sometimes  adv.有時；不時

　　eg: He sometimes writes to me .他偶爾給我寫寫信。

　　12，somewhere  adv.在某處；到某處
